Syracuse Study Abroad Students in Italy to Design Solutions for Real World Challenges

Architecture student Jenna Merry ’23 arrived in Italy in March 2021 as part of the first cohort of Syracuse University students to study overseas since the onset of COVID-19. While in Florence, Jenna and her studio partner, Madeline Alves ’23, learned that nuclear waste is a pressing concern in Italy. They decided to design a disposal facility as their project for the semester.

Humphrey Fellows at Maxwell Visit the LaunchPad to Talk Global Innovation

Nine Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows from Brazil, Guatemala, Mexico, Montenegro, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, South Africa, Tanzania and Togo visited with the LaunchPad team as part of a cross cultural exchange program.
