| | | Greetings from Syracuse! As our excitement grows for the launch of the David B. Falk College of Sport on July 1, I’m equally thrilled to share with you in this newsletter several examples of the outstanding work that’s being done by our students and faculty during this year of transition. From our new partnership with the Major League Baseball Players Association to Jonah Soos winning the Sport Analytics National Championship, our sport, nutrition, and exercise science programs are at the top of their games as we prepare to become the first college on a high-research activity campus to focus on sport-related disciplines. And by joining outstanding schools and colleges across campus – and with initiatives such as the Genovese Scholars Program that’s highlighted below – our human dynamics programs are positioned for growth and success as they enter a new era. Please take a moment to read this newsletter and you’ll know why we’re so excited about the future – and the present! All the best to you and yours, Jeremy S. Jordan, Ph.D. Dean, Falk College | | | | | |
