AEW Facilitator Recruitment The Academic Excellence Workshop (AEW) Program is currently accepting Facilitator applications for 2018-2019. Applicants must be full-time engineering and computer science undergraduates in good academic standing with an overall GPA>= 3.0. Applications can be requested at aewapp@ecs.syr.edu. Pledge of the Computing Professional Sign-Ups CS and SIS Seniors graduating in 2018 are eligible to be inducted into the Pledge of the Computing Professional- a symbolic organization that seeks to promote professionalism and integrity among those with a Computer Science background. The Induction Ceremony will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, March 30th in LSB 001. Students who wish to accept the Pledge pay a one-time initiation fee of $10.00 to cover membership and a lapel pin with a matrix with the word “Honor” encoded in ASCII. Interested students must register at the front desk of the Student Success Center in 121 Link Hall between the hours of 9 am – 4pm by Tuesday, March 27th. Order of the Engineer Sign-Ups Engineering Seniors graduating in 2018 are eligible to be inducted into the Order of the Engineer – a symbolic organization that seeks to promote professionalism among engineers. It is a prestigious fellowship of engineers dedicated to the practice, teaching and administration of their profession. The Induction Ceremony will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, March 30th in LSB 001. Students who wish to accept the Obligation of the Engineer pay a one-time initiation fee of $10.00 to cover membership and ring cost.
