Implementation of State Coordination in Support of the Federal Facility Hazardous Waste Cleanup Program (EPA-OLEM-FFRRO-18-02)

  • (June 25) This RFP solicits proposals to promote and stimulate research for use by state environmental officials to address Federal Facility Hazardous Waste Cleanup Program policy and implementation issues of importance to states.

Announcement for Program Funding for NRCS’ Conservation Easement Restoration (USDA-NRCS-IA-18-03)

  • (Jun 25) The ACEP, RCPP, and EWP-FPE are voluntary programs to conserve, protect, and enhance the nation’s wetland and floodplain ecosystems.

NIOSH Exploratory/Developmental Grant Program (NIH, R21)

  • (July 19) The purpose of the R21 grant program is (1) to develop an understanding of the risks and conditions associated with occupational diseases and injuries, (2) to explore methods for reducing risks and preventing or minimizing exposure to hazardous conditions in the workplace, and (3) to translate significant scientific findings into prevention practices and products that will effectively reduce work-related illnesses and injuries.

Cancer Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment Technologies for Low-Resource Settings (NIH, R41/R42)

  • (LOI- Aug 5, Application due- Sept 5) This FOA encourages Small Business Innovation Research (STTR) grant applications from small business concerns (SBCs) proposing commercially-directed research for the development of cancer prevention, diagnosis, or treatment technologies to improve cancer outcomes in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), and low-resource settings in the US.

Patient Safety in the Context of Perinatal, Neonatal, and Pediatric Care (NIH, R01)

  • (LOI- Sept 5, Application due- Oct 5) This FOA encourages a wide range of collaborative research projects related to patient safety in the context of perinatal, neonatal and pediatric care both in routine hospital settings and in intensive care units.

FY 2018 Continuation of Solicitation for the Office of Science Financial Assistance Program (DE-FOA-0001820)

  • (Sep 30) The SC mission is to deliver scientific discoveries and major scientific tools to transform our understanding of nature and advance the energy, economic and national security of the United States. SC is the Nation’s largest Federal sponsor of basic research in the physical sciences and the lead Federal agency supporting fundamental scientific research for our Nation’s energy future.

DoD Spinal Cord Injury Translational Research Award

  • (Oct 15) The SCIRP TRA is intended to support translational research that will accelerate the movement of promising ideas in SCI research into clinical applications. Although not all-inclusive, some examples include demonstration studies of pharmaceuticals and medical devices in preclinical systems and/or clinical research on therapeutics, devices, or practice using human tissues or resources.

AHRQ Small Research Grant Program (NIH, R03)

  • (Oct 16) This FOA encourages Small Research Grant (R03) applications, and expresses AHRQ priority areas of interest for ongoing small research projects. Secondary analysis of existing data is one of the examples of the types of projects supported by R03. Harnessing data and technology to improve health care quality and patient outcomes and to provide a 360-degree view of the patient is one of the AHRQ priority areas.

  • (Nov 17) The purpose of this grant program is to develop an understanding of the risks and conditions associated with occupational diseases and injuries, to explore methods for reducing risks and preventing or minimizing exposure to hazardous conditions in the workplace, and to translate significant scientific findings into prevention practices and products that will effectively reduce work-related illnesses and injuries. Eligible research projects include secondary data analysis.
