Though we are just a few weeks into the semester, our ever-present alumni are already enriching the student experience through mentoring, speaking to classes, recruiting, conducting mock interviews and more. The engagement of alumni is exceedingly important and does not go unnoticed. On September 15, we will honor four exemplary alumni for their exceptional service and professional accomplishments.

Orange Family Legacy: The Ryan Family Tree Blooms Orange

Kelly Ryan is the seventh in her family to graduate from Syracuse. Her family of devoted Orange alumni come back to campus as often as they can. She counts Varsity, Manny’s and Whitman as must-stops on each trip.

Our September Featured Alumni Entrepreneur

Whitman MBA alum, Christian Giancarlo Pérez Romo, is a serial entrepreneur who believes in the idea of Zen philosopher Alan M. Watts: “This is the real secret of life – to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.”
