From the Dean Magazine Message: In this edition of Whitman, we highlight how Whitman faculty are infusing entrepreneurial thinking and spirit throughout the school’s programs. Through traditional classroom courses, innovative co-curricular programming like IMPRESS, experiential learning opportunities and other resources to support students’ entrepreneurial and innovative endeavors, we are preparing students for a world in which “not business as usual” will be the norm. Featured Alumnus: Irvin Thevaranjan ’13

Irvin Thevaranjan recalls his graduation day from Whitman in 2013 and gives advice to our newest Orange alumni: “Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself and push yourself to do something new or different, don’t compromise on your passions and goals, be willing to take on different experiences and, most importantly, don’t be afraid of failure.”
