Reset: Re-focus study strategies, Re-evaluate time management, Re-start your semester

The Center for Learning and Student Success is offering a success workshop to help students “Reset” their semester and finish strong.  There are a TON of times available, review the options and sign up here.  You are encouraged to participate in one of these small group workshops!

Congratulations…

To Layla Halalou!!  She is the winner of our mid-semester prize drawing!  Layla was randomly selected from ALL students who have earned any amount of Route 44 points so far this semester!  The next drawing will take place on December 10th — all you have to do is participate in ONE Route 44 event to be included in the drawing!

Remembrance Week 2018

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the bombing of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, on Dec. 21, 1988. Syracuse University and the University’s Remembrance and Lockerbie Scholars have planned events and activities—from exhibitions to panel discussions to a candlelight vigil—to honor the 270 people, including 35 students studying abroad through Syracuse University, who lost their lives in the tragedy.  View more information and the week’s schedule here.  

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) Movie Night – Thursday 11/1/18 @ 5pm, HL 105

Rt44Join us for a night of popcorn, drinks, and a whole lot of fun!  We will be watching Mi Familia.  

Engineering Ambassadors – Friday 11/2/18 @ 3 or 3:45pm

Rt44Join the Engineering Ambassadors for this week’s Middle School visits.  This week we will be launching into the weekend by working on a “Catapults” lesson plan with students! We will be going to HW Smith, Westside Academy, Ed Smith, Hillside, and Grant middle schools. Each session will last approximately 1.5 hrs including travel.
