Construction Engineering Lab Opens

The College proudly opened the doors to a new Construction Engineering Lab at a dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony this March.The facility provides a space to replicate construction quality control tests, infrastructure health monitoring, and inspection activities that take place at construction sites. Read more.

Nangia Wins ACS Faculty Award

The American Chemical Society has awarded their competitive OpenEye Outstanding Junior Faculty Award to Professor Shikha Nangia. She earned the honor for using computational techniques to identify strategies to enable transport of drug molecules across the blood brain barrier. Read more.

H. Ezzat Khalifa

The Khalifa Energy Systems Award

Professor H. Ezzat Khalifa has established the Khalifa Energy Systems Award Fund to recognize a graduating senior in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, with a GPA of 3.4 or higher, who has also completed a Minor in Energy Systems. Read more.

Milcarek ’14 Wins ASHRAE Award

Ryan Milcarek ’14, a mechanical engineering Ph.D. student, has been chosen to receive an American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers Graduate Student Grant-In-Aid. The $10,000 grant will support his research on flame-assisted fuel cells. Read more.

Langmuir Spotlights Nanotechnology Research
