(Sept 12) The HITEMMP program will develop novel approaches and technologies for design topologies, materials, and manufacturing of high temperature, high pressure, and highly compact heat exchangers.

NLM Research Grants in Biomedical Informatics and Data Science (NIH, R01)

(Oct 5) The National Library of Medicine (NLM) supports innovative research and development in biomedical informatics and data science.

International Research Experiences for Students (IRES)

(Full Proposal Deadline- Sept 18, Full Proposal Target Date- Sept 25) The IRES program supports international research and research-related activities for U.S. science and engineering students.

NASA Research and Technology Development to Support Crew Health and Performance in Space Exploration Missions

(from Sept 5, 2018 to Sept 5, 2019)  This NRA solicits applied research in support of Human Research Program goals and objectives. It covers all aspects of research to provide human health and performance countermeasures, knowledge, technologies, and tools to enable safe, reliable, and productive human space exploration.

Enabling Quantum Leap: Convergent Accelerated Discovery Foundries for Quantum Materials Science, Engineering and Information (Q-AMASE-i) (NSF)

(LOI- Sept 17, Application due- Nov 5) The DMR, the DMS, the ECCS, and the OAC seek to rapidly accelerate quantum materials design, synthesis, characterization, and translation of fundamental materials engineering and information research for quantum devices, systems, and networks.

Space Environment Exploitation (DARPA)

(Sept 24) The Defense Sciences Office at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is soliciting innovative research proposals in the area of high spatial and temporal resolution predictive/assimilative modeling and simulation of the near-earth space environment.

Advanced Technologies and Instrumentation (NSF)

(Nov 15) The Advanced Technologies and Instrumentation (ATI) program provides individual investigator and collaborative research grants for development of new technologies and instrumentation for astronomy and astrophysics.
