Join Engineering Ambassadors The Engineering Ambassadors program helps students discover the STEM fields and how they influence every day life. Current ECS students visit local middle schools each Friday to teach students about STEM topics and do hands-on projects that reflect the weeks’ lesson. Training sessions will take place on Thursday 9/13 (7-8pm, HL 105) and Friday 9/14 (3-4pm HL 105). Join Excelerators! Wednesday 9/12/18, 7pm, 001 LSB The ECS Excelerators are the student ambassadors for the College of Engineering and Computer Science. They assist in undergraduate admissions and recruitment efforts by taking prospective students to shadow classes, have lunch in the dining halls, and meeting with prospective students and their families on Open House days. Excelerators must be enthusiastic and must enjoy talking about SU. They must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Please join us for an information meeting (there will be pizza) if you are interested in joining – new first-year students are encouraged to participate.
