Whitman Alumni to Be Honored at CBT 2017  

During Coming Back Together 2017, set for September 14-17, two Whitman alumni will be honored. Michael Blackshear ’91, chief compliance officer at Chubb, and Constance “Connie” Orlando ’89, head of programming for Black Entertainment Television, will receive the Chancellor’s Citation. Whitman will also host an alumni luncheon. Make your reservations now to attend any of the great events scheduled for the weekend!

Meet This Month’s Alumni Entrepreneur

Learn Fresh is a business venture started by Whitman alumnus Nick Monzi ’11 to help students improve standardized math scores. NBA Math Hoops was the company’s first community program and features a Hasbro-produced board game and curriculum that constructs an NBA season experience for classrooms and after-school programs.
