News for our SU family in Asia

Dear friends,

Our Syracuse family around the world is going strong!

Chancellor Kent Syverud and other University leaders recently completed an exciting and productive visit to China. During this trip, Syracuse connected with Chinese universities to explore research and educational partnerships. We also met hundreds of SU alumni, including Scott Kronick ’85, whom we interviewed for this issue of Syracuse University Update.

Thank you to our generous law alumni in Seoul! College of Law Dean Craig Boise was recently in Seoul; he was delighted when alumni joined together to make a generous gift to support the college.

And in other news, Newhouse graduates Jingpo Li ’18 and Emily Alek ’18 recently won the prestigious Cannes Future Lion award for a project that was part of their advertising course work.

Thank you, everyone, for your collective enthusiasm and support. From attending events to making gifts to support students to helping graduates and students find jobs, you keep the Syracuse family strong!
