This is a particularly busy time of year at Whitman. You likely remember the anxiety—and then exhilaration—you felt as a Whitman student in December! Faculty and staff are wrapping up one semester while planning for the next. The hustle and bustle is no exception for me, as I am currently serving as the interim executive director of career services for Whitman in addition to my permanent role in alumni and corporate relations. Introducing our First “Orange Crush” Couple: Tara (Helms) and Paul Moonan

We are happy to share our first “Orange Crush” alumni feature! Tara (Helms) and Paul Moonan are both 2008 graduates of the Whitman School. Though they’ve been together for nearly a decade, it took three chance meetings for the couple to make a date…which was altered a bit by the Valentine’s blizzard of 2007!

This month’s featured alumni entrepreneur is Geof Lambert ’84, co-founder of Costa Academy, a cooperative education center in South Central Pennsylvania.

Our featured alumni for December are Pearl Berkowitz ’14, a senior consultant in the Global Mobility department at EY Israel, and Amina Isakovic ’09, a global senior marketing analyst at General Electric in Atlanta, Georgia.
