Syracuse University Update

News for our SU family in Asia

Greetings from Esther Feng!

State-of-the-art facilities, scholarly excellence, and supportive alumni all make Syracuse University a world-class institution.

In this issue of Syracuse University Update, you’ll get an inside look at Syracuse University’s Barnes Center at The Arch, our reimagined health, wellness, and recreation center. We are also celebrating a newly formed partnership with Xidian University in Xian, China, as well as the research grant awarded to Professor Joon Soo Lim and his colleagues at Newhouse.

Please also help us welcome Wei Gao G’05, assistant director of first-year and transfer programs, who is in a new position to support incoming students from China and their parents. Her work will be an integral part of Syracuse University’s strategy to help students be even more successful, both on campus and beyond.

We send a big thank you to our alumni and parents who help make the SU student experience even better. From hosting an afternoon tea for Syracuse Abroad students in Hong Kong to helping graduates find jobs to contributing to scholarships, the SU family makes it all possible!

Forever Orange!
