Research Tip of the Week

Brought to you by the STEM Librarian, Emily Hart ekhart@syr.edu

How are you keeping track of sources for your research papers? Are you using bookmarks, keeping tabs open, or maybe copying and pasting links into a Word Document? STOP. Sometimes when you leave tabs open or copy and paste links from sources found in the Libraries’ databases, the links can time out or “go bad”. To be sure you can access your sources later, try E-mailing PDF copies to yourself from Summon and the Libraries’ databases, or try using a citation management program like Mendeley.
