Machine learning methods application for analyzing hydro-acoustic telemetry data (Geological Survey, USGS18FA0158)(Jun 15) The intent of the project is to identify machine learning methods and to implement these methods in a Python software package that will allow scientists to process telemetry data rapidly. BYU is proposing to develop high-throughput computing using computational techniques for processing these data sets. The processing software will result in timely delivery of results to resource managers.

SuperCables (Dept of the Army)(Jul 24) The U.S. Army Research Office (ARO) in partnership with the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) seeks research and development of technology and techniques for energy-efficient, high data rate transmission of digital signals between computing systems operating at room and cryogenic temperatures.
